Mission: Yule!
Location: Great Hall.
Timeline: Friday, 22 December, 2017 9 A.M.

Merryweather arrived at the great hall with a large basket full of parchment. As the students arrived she collected there quills and handed out the test parchments with the anti-cheating quills.

Pandora took her parchment and quill then took a seat as she waited to know what they would have to write about.

Barney shrugged as he took a parchment and quill and took his seat. He was worried as he got closer to the Herbology exam. He sat and waited for the professor to give them the test instructions.

Jennifer walked in and took her customary seat and waited for her turn to take a quill and piece of parchment. She was eager to see how she did on this exam. She'd studied hard, but it all depended on what questions wer easked.

Ben took his test materials, grinning to himself that the anti-cheating quills would make some get telling grades. He began writing what needed to be written but was wondering if there would be any practical use of the exam, anyone could write about charms, doing them were something else entirely.

Fiona was nervous about the test. She wasn't sure how she'd do. She was glad to see the anti-cheating quills. At least it would make the curve honest. Did the teacher even grade on a curve? She coudln't remember. She took a quill and parchment and closed her eyes. Relax. It's just a test. At least her O.W.L.s were based on more than a written test.

Alyssa coughed a little as she was given the parchment and quill. She was a tad tired, but she would need to get over herself in order to overcome the midterm. Hopefully she would get a passing grade. No, she knew she would get a passing grade. It was just a matter of if she got a perfect score or something average. Glancing at the writing prompt on the board, she began to scribble her thoughts on a piece of parchment before crossing it out and starting over. She did this several times in the first ten minutes, frustrated that she couldn't convey her thoughts properly. Raising her hand, she made an attempt to flag the professor's attention. "Professor," Alyssa whispered, "can I get another piece of parchment?"

Peter sat on the back row, feet stretched before him as he took the test. His expression was smug as he wrote. This one was going to be a snap.

One by one, the students settled into their exam. As they finished, they dropped the quills and parchment onto the teacher's desk and walked out.
