"About every other year. Depends on if the Headmaster feels like making the effort. if not, we have a big dinner," Peter said. "Well, I'm glad this year's Headmaster felt like it.

Dinners this, and dinners that." Alena said, shaking her head.

Pandora sat in a chair just off the dance floor her chin resting in her hand her elbow on the table. "Where is he?" She wondered scanning the room for any sign of Reg.

Ben walked around the room. He had gone alone, which didn't really bother him too much, he really hadn't bothered to seek someone out too hard. He spotted Pandora sitting by herself at a table near the dance floor. She looked like she was looking for someone, someone that wasn't there. He quickly dropped the smirk that had formed on his face and sat down next to her. "Hey Pandora, Are you having a nice time?"

Pandora looked at him, "Having a ball." She answered. "Look if you came over here to gloat please don't okay." Tears stood in the corner of her eyes threatening to fall but she wasn't going to give him or anyone else the satisfaction of seeing them.

The doors pushed opened as someone walked through them. He had on a more modern ball tuxedo, a white mask with only the mouth piece removed, and big hat with a white feather. He stood there in a cane as he looked around, noticing all the students in the Great Hall. He took in a deep breath and then let it out. He slowly closed his eyes and began to whisper softly to himself. "Just think Gryffindor, Reginald. Just think of Grant." Reg paused for a moment and then cleared his throat. "I suddenly have the urge to punch myself." He let out a big smile and then walked slowly and elegantly further in. He cleared his throat and then let out a smile. He was lucky he picked up a pair of contacts. One look at his crimson eyes would have given him away from the get go. It was easy to get a pair of colored ones that matched Evan's. Its not like his eye color was that complicated. As for the hair, all he did was use a spell to chair its color. Nothing permanent. Reg might actually have to give himself a Unforgivable Curse if he had. He looked around, hoping he would find some sort of sign of Jennifer, all the while keep on his smile.

Jennifer saw Evan -- or who she thought was Evan. She was both relieved to see he was okay and sorry he showed up. She planted a smile firmly on her face and walked up to him. "Hi. Feeling better? You know, we can still call this off and go back to our respective rooms."

He stood there quiet for a moment. Keeping his smile going, he slowly leaned down and kissed the top of her hand. Reginald looked at her and then bowed slightly. Without saying a word he slowly began to walk with her to the middle of the dance floor. He moved slowly, keeping on his smile, and turned around to look at everyone every so often. Reginald already know this was a bad idea, but there was no turning back now. He had already gone too far so he might as well enjoy it while it lasted.

Something was wrong. This was NOT Evan. Evan would never kiss her hand. Nor would he send shivers down her spine when he did so. But ... No. It couldn't be. She looked at him keenly for a moment, then smiled like nothing was amiss. If this was Reg, she wouldn't give him away. And if it WAS Evan, she'd kill him.

When they reached the middle of the dance floor, he brought her closer and put one hand on her waist and the other cupped into her other hand, extending it slightly. He bowed again and then slowly began to dance with the music, moving in unison with her. He never made a sound, just smiled as they moved. Looking at her the whole time.

Jennifer looked back at him, puzzled. He didn't look like Reg, but he didn't act like Evan. "Who are you?" she whispered.

Edward's eyes scanned the crowd watching to see if any of the dancers were getting a little too hot and heavy, he doubted that any of them would be stupid enough to go too far, but...

As a slow song came on, Barny blushed a little and looked at Fiona, "Shall we, or would you like to take a break for some punch?"

Fiona felt her cheeks flush. "I ... um ... don't know. What do you want to do?"

"Truthfully, I want to dance the slow dances with you too, but I also want to respect you, and get to know you for who you are instead of just enjoying how beautiful you are on the outside. I want to get to know who you are besides all that. I don't know if that makes sense or not, but I think it's important." Barny smiled at her abashedly.

"i want to get to know you, too," Fiona said, blushing. "I don't think the type of dance we do changes that. I'm just ... new to this sort of thing."

Barny smiled, "For me too." He gently took her in his arms and held her, gently rocking to the slow song that was playing. She smelled so good, he could feel her pressed gently against him. "I could get addicted to this, you know."

Fiona was still finding this all new and was still unsure of herself, but she had to admit she was enjoying Barny's company.

Reginald slowly leaned in forward and whispered into her ear. "The man of your dreams in disguise." He spoke to her in Parcelmouth. That would have been a dead give away, but it didn't matter since it was her and no one else would hear them. As far as he was concerned the act was moving along nicely.
