Mission: September 1 A new Beginning

Millie had been waiting outside the library. She shrunk into the shadows dressed in her full Ravenclaw cloak to hide her from anyone that might pass. She knew that Jen was in there, however she was taking her time! If only she would come out sooner then she wouldn't have to stand there for a long time.

The librarian shooed everyone out of the library. "Time to close down. Go to bed. Especially you, Miss Collins. You still need to prepare for the Triwizard Tournament."

Jen gathered her books, grinning. "Yes, but what good is a championship if I fail my exams?" She waved at the woman as she left the library and headed back to the dorms.

Millie saw Jen leave. Instantly she grabbed her hood and pulled her back into a broom closet.

"What on earth are you doing, Millie?" Jen asked.

"Jen" Millie said. Her wand lit up with the lumos spell casting some light over the closet. "Sorry for grabbing you"

"Okay, but why?" Jen asked.

"You've been hiding in the Library, ever since the incident with the Quidditch pitch" Millie said. "I've come to tell you that I know who did it, and I intend to get them back with style"

"I haven't been hiding," Jennifer insisted. "I usually spend a lot of time in the library." Which was true, but she was also avoiding people. "What do you know?" she asked.

"I know who did it, and wanted to let you know that you're not to blame"

"I know I'm not to blame. Neither is Reg," Jen insisted. Then she raised an eyebrow. "Who did do it?"

"It was Lindsey" Millie said. "She made the unfortunate mistake to not check the pitch was empty before she did it. I watched her from one of the Ravenclaw towers".

"That girl is trouble. I caught her flirting with Reg. She had the nerve to pretend he ASKED her to meet with him," Jen said, shaking her head. "I hope the Professors see through her lies, but if not, would you be willing to tell them what you saw?"

"I've got a better plan. I'm going to sort this... my way..." Millie said giving her an evil smile.

"I wish you luck," Jen said. She sincerely wished it for Millie as the girl sometimes got a little hotheaded. She still remembered the argument she had with her boyfriend last year.

"Thanks for the information, Mille," Jen continued. "I really appreciate it. Talk to you later."
