Posted on Monday, 30th of September, 2013 @ 9:29pm by Professor Johnathan Heartseed & Fourth Year (G) Satele Dragomir & Seventh Year Prefect (G) Jennifer Collins & Seventh Year Prefect (S) Reginald Price & Ministry Employee Maurelle Valentina

Mission: September 1 A new Beginning
Location: Great Hall
Timeline: Night before 3rd TWT Challenge

Kelly was keeping an eye on Barney, Reggie and even sigh Jennifer. She didn't really like how Barney was looking at Fiona. But she couldn't do anything about it. She didn't really know why it aggravated her, but it did, she wasn't right for him. He was a doer, like a hero out of old legend, while she was a thinker. She'd wind up a librarian or somesuch. She would tie him down and make him miserable in the end. She shook her head to clear it and continued watching. Making sure no one messed with them or their food.

Professor Asquared looked on. Like all the teachers, he was watching, not just the champions, but everyone. He didn't like that there were such tensions, the tournament was supposed to bring the schools together with friendly competition, not divide them with suspicion.

Heartseed wiped his forehead. This wasn't fun, and it was interfering with his own plans. He looked out at the 3 schools filling the dining hall. If things went bad this could wind up being the last Tri-Wizard Tournament. That couldn't be allowed. Even at the cost of current progress in his plan, he had to keep this going.

Suddenly a huge glowing white wolf bounded through the doors of the great hall, running over the central table and scaring many of the students, straight to Heartseed, and sat. In Jason's voice it said in a voice that only the professors near Heatseed could hear. "The Forest, first obstacle, another unicorn." Then the patronus shimmered and vanished.

Heartseed rose, "Goldric, McCauley, Coorigan, come with me. Miss Maurelle, you'd better come too." He looked for Morgan, but the DADA professor was not in her usual seat. "Asquared, see to it the student go straight to their rooms after dinner, Prefects in their common rooms to make sure no one is wandering the halls."

"Yes, headmaster." said Edward. "I'll see to it."

Maggie nodded and stood to follow the headmaster.

Maurelle obliged Heartseed and followed along. Something about the man intrigued her, he was not whom he appeared to be.

Barney looked around himself during this whole interchange, making certain no one availed themselves of the opportunity to do mischief on him again. He noticed that through the whole thing that the young Slytherin, Kelly watched him through the whole thing. She still followed him on his morning runs most of the time, which up till now had amused him. Now he wondered... No, she'd been following him for way longer than the challenges, she couldn't be one of the ones poisoning him.

James looked at Keesha, "What do you think that was all about? I'll wager it was more than plants that someone found."

Keesha's eyes were wide. "I don't know, but it looks important. I wonder if someone else has been attacked. As for me, I'm not gonna get involved with anything." She shook her head. "Not me. Too dangerous."

James looked at Keesha, "It's ok, I'd keep you safe."

She gave him a bright grin. "I know."

Jennifer watched the teachers go and looked to Barny and Fiona. "I'd like to know what that's all about. Come on, let's go see."

With that, she got up and walked out of the Great Hall.

Fiona didn't look at Barny. She got up and followed Jen. If they wanted to come with, fine. If not, she and Jen were perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. Besides, she told the Headmaster she'd help keep an eye on the Champions. So, technically, she was following his orders.

Barney followed along, there was no way he was letting his girlfriend and cousin go out alone. "The more the merrier..."

Kelly watched them get up and go, she was torn a little, but she didn't like the idea that the Ravenclaw girl was going with Barney. She almost made it to the door when a hand came down on her shoulder.

"And where do you think you're going?" Asked Professor Asquared. "I believe your dorm is that way young lady." he said as he pointed in the opposite direction from the way she wanted to go.

"Yes, Professor." Kelly said in a sickly sweet voice, the kind that one could never tell if she was being nice or sarcastic. She headed the way that he had pointed, all the while cursing inside her head.

Satele walked into the Great Hall, Late as usual. She'd actually considered not coming down at all tonight, but hunger got the better of her. Looking around at the other students talking amongst their little groups, Satele made her way to the end of the table, opened the text book she was carrying and started to read. Before long, a plate appeared before her along with a tray of food. Taking a small selection from the tray, she returned her attention to her book.

Reg walked into the Great Hall, his face seemed confused and odd. He just came back from having a conversation with his father and it revealed some odd results. As he walked into he bumped into Virgil, the resident half vampire (THAT DOES NOT SPARKLE!!). "Excuse me." He said in apologetic tone, even though he still wasn't paying attention.

"Watch where your going, Price!" Virgil yelled back, moving the blood flavored mini-pop from his mouth and narrowing his eyes in a scorning manner.

"Sorry, I can't play right now. Maybe some other time." Reg responded, still not focusing on anyone or anything but finding Jen. He hurried off and started to look for her.

Hearing Reg's voice, Satele stood up from her plate and quickly made her way over to him, "excuse me Prefect, are you looking for Jennifer?" She asked, not sure if that was the reason he was down here, but it was a safe bet.

"What are you a bloody mind reader?" Reg replied as he rubbed his scratched hand slightly as he looked over to Satele. "Yes. Have you seen her?"

Satele smiled, "it's not hard to imagine what you're thinking. She just left with that other guy, Barny or something"
