Mission: Another School Year, Another ...

[CONTINUED]

[OLD]

Jennifer ignored the conversation between Reg and Rasputin. he was intent on getting to her room and hiding the letters from Reg before he got curious and came looking for them.

When she'd found a nice, secure place to hide the letters, she changed into her pajamas and climbed into bed, pulling the covers over her head and tried very hard to fall asleep before Reg found her.

[NEW]

"Jen? Jennifer?" Reg said as he walked in and looked around, spotting her tucked into the bed. With a smirk he walked over and sat down on it, poking at the covers repeatedly. "Your not asleep. I know your not asleep. You were awake a few seconds ago so you cant be fully asleep. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up." He laughed as he continued to playfully poke her.

"Nope," Jen giggled. "I'm asleep. You have to wait until morning to find out what's in those owls."

"Your a horrible liar." Reg laughed as he lay down next to her and looked over to Jen, pulling the covers down passed her head and moved her hair out from away from her face. "Come on. Talk to me. Please?"

She tried to control it, but couldn't help a giggle escaping. "Shh! I'm sleeping. You didn't want to know what was in the owl anyway."

"Not anymore." Reg replied as he placed his hand on her sides and began to tickle her, getting a few laughs out of her before stopping and letting her catch her breath. "Come on. Tell me."

Jen struggled to catch her breath as she sat up and wrapped her hands around her knees, her eyes sparkling. "You and I are head boy and girl."

"No seriously? What did it say for me?" Reg replied with a laugh. He wasn't surprised with Jen making head girl, but Reg? She had to be joking.

"Seriously. You're head boy." She raised her hand and called for the letters. It was nice not being underage magic anymore. She found Reg's and handed him the one with his name on it. "Here, read for yourself."

Reg took the letter and began to read it. "You know, you're not supposed to do that out of school, right?" He smirked slightly as he began to read. As his eyes began to dart from the top of the letter to the bottom, the expression on his face changed from a smile to shock. This was the last thing he was expecting. Reg knew other students who have definitely earned the title before he would, but there it was in print and signed with the seal of the Headmaster. "Bloody hell? How, in Merlin's beard, did I pull this off and not know it?"

"Well, you have changed a lot in the past two years. Your O.W.L.s were good and you are a Tournament Champion. You've definitely earned it."

She leaned forward and gave him a kiss. "I think you're wonderful."

In the living room, Tribble found what she was looking for and purred happily as I Dream of Jeannie began to play on the Telly.

"What? What'sss thisss?" Rasputin said as he looked over to the screen with a bit of a raised brow. "Ohh.. that's catchy." The snake coiled up and raise slightly, swaying back and forth as he began to hum the tone of the song aloud.

Tribble began to harmonize with the snake through the theme song, pleased that, so far, her friend seemed to like the show.

When Jeannie came onto the screen, Tribble turned her attention to the TV. The pygmie puff nodded her head in a mirror image of the genie on the TV, although she had no arms and no ponytail.

Rasputin watched the television show for a few moments before letting out a yell. "Are you sssserious? That isss not a genie! That isss a ssstripper that can make a quick exit! Where do Americansss come up with thisss ssstuff? They will do anything to put a beautiful woman in ssscantally clad clothesss."

The snake slithered away and coiled in front of the TV, speaking in a deep voice, faking an american accent. "I have a brilliant idea. Letsss make a ssstory about three very attractive woman who nobody knowsss are ssspiesss and everyone asssumes they are just woman and they get all their misssssionsss from a guy on a telephone named... I don't know... Bob."

Tribble let out a squeak which trailed off into a soft purr.

"Charlie? That'sss a horrible name for a voice on a telephone." Rasputin replied quickly as the small pygmy let out another set of squeaks and purrs. "What? That ssshow exissstss? Charlie'sss Angelsss? They aren't sssupposssed to be actual angelsss are they?" The pygmy responsed again. "You mussst ssshow me Charlie and hisss Attractive Angelsss. I want to ssseee thisss and they better have a catchy tune because thatsss the only way they are going to get approval pointsss."

Tribble wanted to watch "I Dream of Jeannie," but Rasputin clearly didn't appreciate the finer points of the show, so she hopped onto the remote and began to bounce on the channel cnager until she found "Charlie's Angels."

The music began to play through the opening credits as Tribble settled in to hopefully watch the episode.
