Mission: Another School Year, Another ...
Location: Great Hall
Timeline: Halloween

Allie was sitting with a couple of first years, helping them learn the proper wrist movements for Wingardium Leviosa. "Good. Swish, and then a flick." She demonstrated with her own fork, then gestured to the boy to try. He kept swinging his arms around unnecessarily, causing a lot of damage to the jellies. "No, not quite so big. Try to keep your elbow in your side, and then move your wrist in a circle. Like so."

"Except, don't try it here or the Headmistress will give you detention," Keesha cautioned.

"Your not as scary as you seem to think you are." Alessandra spoke to Virgil from behind him. "We have several of your kind back home, except they are the real deal. Yes, I know you are a half blood...if not you wouldn't be attending here. So skulking around in the dark serves no purpose other than to perpetuate this 'bad boy' image that you feel the need to present to the world. The shadows are my home, and I have no intentions of sharing."

Virgil heard the words and bit down hard on his blood flavored mini-pop enough so that there was a crunching sound. With a soft growl, he grabbed Alessandra by her robes and dragged her out of the Great Hall and into an empty classroom, pinning her against the wall. She could feel the increased strength and speed as he lifted her slightly onto her tippy toes and leaned in, baring his fangs as his eyes developed a bit of a shine to them. "Listen to me, Bitch. I have NO plans in being outed by you. I may look like a half-blood, but I have all the full blood abilities. Do you understand me?!! And right now, I have an insatiable urge to bite you if you don't give me a reason why I shouldn't." He slowly leaned her, a growl still hanging at the back of his throat as he whispered in a sinister fashion "And it better be a really good reason."

There were several reactions that Virgil could have foreseen, but the exasperated sigh and rolling of her eyes was not one of them. "Oh, quit your posturing. It does not impress me in the least. And if you think I have any interest in 'outing' you, you credit yourself with more importance than you are worth to me. But...I can see this in your eyes. Curiosity. I've caught your attention...and that is because you and I are not as different as you may have thought."

"You think that by talking to me like that your going to win my favor?" Virgil growled slightly as he pulled her forward and than slammed her against the wall, cracking it slightly. "I AM NOT AMUSED!"

Alessandra closed her eyes when he slammed her into the wall, a low moan escaping from her. She opened her eyes and stared into Virgil's with an intensity he was not used to seeing. "Mmmmm....but let's save the rough stuff for someplace more private. At the moment we have more important things to discuss."

Virgil glared back at her and slowly the growling in his throat subsided. She was far more deranged that he thought, but the crazy thing was he had yet to determine whether or not this was a good or bad quality. Although, his curiosity did get the better of him so he eased her back down to her feet, but kept his grip on her robes. "Start.... talking." He said as he licked his lips and narrowed his eyes.

Her gaze did not waiver. "Where I am from, the dark practices are not something that is looked down upon like they are here. My family has a long history of the practice. I seem to have a natural ability towards it myself. And that..." She reached out and placed a hand on his cheek. "...makes me much more interesting to you than anything walking these boring halls here at Hogwarts."

Virgil let got of her robes and slapped her hand away, than slammed his hands onto the wall at the side of her head and leaned in. He took in a deep breath, taking in her scent, and closed his eyes as his mind began to wonder. She smelled dirty. She smelled of dark magic, but it was small. Still in its infancy. As he opened his eyes, there was a slight shine in them. Almost like they could pierce right through her if he wanted. "I don't need you for dark magic, Girl. I know where to get it if I so need it. The thing about being in my position is I know the places the Ministry classifies as the most hazardous. Where the darkest of the dark dwell. If I want it I would pluck it with ease. You would only get in my way and draw more attention. Why would I ever... need... you?" He whispered as he pulled his head away, leaving his hands against the wall to keep her from moving.

"Because we are more alike than you realize." She laughed a bit as she spoke. "And just thin of all the mischief that we could create together."

[Great Hall]

Allie looked up as Virgil dragged a girl out of the hall. She turned back to the first year and smiled. Sometimes boys were such douches.

The Halloween feast was almost over when the lights flickered and went out.

Maggie raised her wand. "Lumos!" Instead of the candles coming back on, one small firework shot into the air, sputtered and fizzled out.
"Oh dear." she said, "I think we have a problem."

She stood and raised her voice. "Everyone stay calm. We'll have this fixed in a moment."
